ABOUT SARAH
Sarah Scott Turner is a National Physique Committee athlete, a professional firefighter, and a full time student. Sarah began competing in 2008 after her husband Brent inspired her to get on stage, and showed her the basics of weightlifting. After two figure competitions and two bikini competitions, Sarah has decided to step up her game and enter her first competition as a bodybuilder in October 2010 at the Hendershott Classic in Charleston SC. Sarah graduated high school in 2000, and after turning down numerous soccer scholarships, took a year off to decide which way her life should turn. Firefighting was the answer. She enrolled in fire science classes and fire academy at Stark State College in Canton, Oh. In 2006, Sarah decided to move south in order to find a full time job as a firefighter. After meeting her husband Brent through the fire service, Sarah found the department that she currently works at, driving Truck One for C -shift. Sarah has continued her studies through the University of Memphis with a bachelor's in professional studies with a double concentration in fire administration and fire prevention. She plans on finishing her PhD in a related field around 2016, and is still searching for the perfect school to attend graduate courses.
